A GPU that throttles, crashes in games or runs at 90°C is far more often a cooling failure than a dead chip. Dried paste, hardened pads and a seized fan produce symptoms that look exactly like a card on its way out — and cost a fraction of replacing one.

GPU Service FAQ

Can you install a water block on my graphics card?

Yes. We fit full-cover and hybrid blocks, measure and apply the correct thermal pad thickness for each rail, torque the block in the proper sequence, and leak-test on the bench before the card goes back in a system.

My GPU hits 90°C and throttles. Is it dying?

Usually not. Dried-out paste, hardened VRAM pads and a failing fan cause exactly those symptoms. A repaste and re-pad is the normal fix and costs far less than a new card.

What causes artifacting — coloured dots or corrupted textures?

Most often overheating VRAM, sometimes failing memory chips or power stages. We test under load to tell the difference before recommending anything.

Does opening my GPU void the warranty?

On most cards, removing the cooler breaks a warranty seal. If your card is still under manufacturer warranty we will tell you before touching it — claiming it is usually the better option.

Should I bring the whole computer or just the card?

Just the card is fine for cooling work. Bring the whole system if the fault only appears under load or you are not certain the GPU is the problem.
