What We Fix

PC Repair Services in Brooklyn

The same bench, the same diagnostic discipline we apply to Macs — pointed at Windows hardware.

🖥

Laptop Screen Replacement

Cracked, flickering or black laptop display replaced. Hinges, bezels and ribbon cables included — a broken hinge usually takes the screen with it.

🔋

Battery & Charging Repair

Laptop not charging, dying in an hour, or swelling the trackpad upward? Battery and DC jack replaced and load-tested.

💾

SSD Upgrades & Cloning

A slow PC is usually a dying hard drive, not a dead PC. We clone to an SSD so Windows, programs and files come across intact.

🌍

Virus & Malware Removal

Pop-ups, browser hijacks, ransomware and "tech support" scams cleaned out, with your files kept where they are.

💡

Won't Power On

No power, no POST, blue screens or boot loops traced to the actual cause — power supply, RAM, board or storage — before anything is replaced.

🔧

Custom Build Service

Built it yourself and it won't post? We diagnose assembled systems, sort cable and seating faults, and finish builds properly.

Every Brand

Mac Shop. PC Bench.

MACPC NYC has always been both halves of the name. A Dell with a dead board gets the same board-level attention as a MacBook — we are not a parts-swap counter, and we tell you when a repair is not worth the money.

Common Questions

PC Repair FAQ

Do you repair Windows PCs, or only Macs?

Both. The shop is MACPC NYC — Windows laptops, desktops and custom builds are repaired on the same bench, by the same technicians.

How much does PC repair cost in Brooklyn?

Diagnosis is $50.00. You get a written estimate before any repair begins and you only pay for work you approve.

My laptop is slow. Is it worth fixing or should I replace it?

Usually worth fixing. Most "slow" laptops have a failing hard drive, and an SSD upgrade costs a fraction of a new machine. If it genuinely is not worth repairing, we say so rather than selling you the work.

Can you recover files from a PC that will not turn on?

In most cases yes. A dead laptop usually has a perfectly healthy drive, and we recover data before any repair so nothing depends on the machine coming back.

Do you work on gaming PCs and custom builds?

Yes — including systems someone else assembled. Builds that will not post are one of the most common things on the bench.

PC Trouble? Bring It In.

$50.00 diagnostic. Repair estimate provided before work begins. Windows laptops, desktops and custom builds.
